In May 2026, I had the privilege of visiting the European Open Data Cube (EODC) and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) in Vienna. This excursion provided me with a unique perspective on how satellite data is stored, processed, and utilized to serve humanity. The experience highlighted the importance of open data initiatives and international collaboration in addressing global challenges through space technology.
